JUST WHEN OSBORNE WAS LOOKING PROMISING.

Following the General Election last May, Geo. Osborne had presented himself as the star of the Government; talking tough regarding the economy, explaining clearly the need for considerable savings, particularly in the Public sector. Well, all of that hit the buffers last week when, in his excitement, he almost wet the bed by revealing that fewer jobs in this area were to go than anticipated. Proper conservatives had envisaged far greater numbers to be directed to proper jobs, in an endeavour to rid us of this totally unnecessary burden which is undoubtedly destroying the finances of the nation.

Few of us are surprised to see the current outfit in Westminster falling into the usual ' let's not rock the boat too much' mode. When will we see a government that takes the bull by the horns in pursuance of real prudence? Hiding behind the 'Coalition agreement' is not going to solve our ongoing problems. Even with savings, our borrowing will increase the National Debt of £4.8 trillion.

BRING ME A REAL CONSERVATIVE.
