A NATION DIVIDED.

The electorate of the United Kingdom is at odds with the Administration; how can this possibly happen? It isn't democratic to perpetually disregard the will of the public. This notion is not just a personal response; letters to the press are adamant about the nation's need to be consulted on so many subjects, none more so than the European question. One such letter to the press, this week, from Colin James, a correspondent from Glos; he was accused by his MP a few years ago, following his concern at the gathering flood of immigration, of acting in an anti-racial fashion. What a disgraceful reply to a responsible member of the public showing concern for his country, and maybe his children.

The situation regarding our European ties must be debated openly and in depth. The concept of a United States of the member nations is not going to work. How long do we continue to live the lie? The currency, human rights, diversity are all components that are destroying the Western world, I'm including the USA here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with independent nations competing on a level playing field and living in harmony, the greatest bond of all.

The two most successful nations of Europe are not in the Union, Norway and Switzerland. They enjoy the same trading rights as Britain within Europe. For the same privilege, we are paying billions per year.


IT IS TIME TO DEMAND OUR RIGHT TO SELF-DETERMINATION.
