During the past week two important statements were made from the House of Lords, one outlining assistance for the motor industry, the other was the drivel about every household obliged to have 'Broadband' within a few years. This obviously includes all affordable homes, to be included in an eco-town coming to a green field site near you. As explained previously, such homes being affordable, since the rest of us happen to be paying for them.


Ken Clarke should get Black Rod to knock on next door and enquire if Mandy can come out to play. Any expenditure of tax payers' money should, by law, be made in the Commons, where it can be properly debated.
