Following continued public appeal to get off the stage, the Government takes the pantomime into an extended season, with a re-write and various character changes. The former Baron Saviour becomes a more recognisable Baron Hardup, showing that the new kid on the block, a Black Prince to some but to the brighter observer, just another socialist who can throw OPM (other peoples money) away with the worst of them, similar to our lame laird. Keep giving them curtain calls until the very last minute, it's so important that they don't get away with this economic shambles as they will be only too ready to blame others for their incompetence.


It is still, however, a concern that any politician from the current crop is incapable of taking the 'bull by the horns' and getting to grips with a proper plan for the future. There has never been a better opportunity to clear Westminster and make a restart with a much slimmed down version.
