HAVE WE MET BEFORE?

Is the country really at ease with itself over the ever increasing number of abortions, now running in excess of 200,000 per year. Many of the subjects involved are young girls who appear to have abortions in series. It is reported that some teenagers have as many as three before their 18th birthday. So how much is this costing the hard pressed taxpayer GB, since we have already paid through the nose for contraception, school clinics and sex education classes? Presumably the latter is to assist in practising sex correctly. May we please now have research to identify the supporters of this enormous waste of resources, they can provide the funding. Those of us who show concern regarding the terminations for convenience should be given large tax rebates.



The BBC made an attempt to look at this subject in the recent two episode drama ' Hunter'. We can suppose that such situations are possible, as depicted by such an acute story line, kidnapping and taking the lives of their young victims, offsprings of mothers who had previously had an abortion. The story in best Beeb fashion, in the main, took the side of the pro-abortion lobby, showing the police as overworked, in some cases only kept going by alchohol and tobacco. Plus the occasional line suggesting that anyone who is anti -abortion must be demented. The classic example came near the end, when the smoking, drinking female lead informed us that she had aborted three times. Very well, but in real life when it happens the bill should be met by the participants in the conception, or alternatively, a visit to the vet.
