CLEGGBOUND CAMERON.

If we are to believe what the Government is proposing, that with enough signatures, topics of most concern to the electorate will be debated in the House of Commons. Pigs might also fly.

It is already generally accepted that the most popular will be the death penalty and our membership of the European Union. Should either, or both, ever be included in the business of the 'House', the vote would naturally be fixed, to save the faces of the Libdem element of the Coalition. The debate regarding the EU could be a possibility; if nothing more than to avoid a referendum by voting for the status quo. We could insist that each MP has to vote according to constituents' requirements.

We have pointed out previously, that serious decisions which have a bearing on the nation's economic health, are far too important for politicians to decide upon. If we are all in it together, then we all need to be part of the policy process. The nation then stands or falls by that result.

DANDELION AND MURDOCH.

Someone at the BBC needs to look closer at world events. The most important story at the moment is the collapse of the economies of the Western world. Naturally, to report the dynamic problems in Europe would not conform with the BEEB's policy of praising everything European. What is being played out currently, both sides of the Atlantic, will shape the lives of the next few generations. This is obviously not enough to sway the broadcaster from it's pursuit of News International, along with it's left wing allies.

Strange also, how, within Westminster, the sleazy Keith Vaz, he of a dubious CV, can head a committee looking into the probity of others. The whole process is beginning to stink. In addition, the BBC is being given the opportunity to lambaste a competitor, on the back of extortion; acquiring money from the public to air it's own views, many of which would be at odds with the subscribers.

DO WE SPOT LARGE SAVINGS AT THE BEEB?

What a turn around; one week reporting from a square in the centre of Cairo, the following week, having a day off with strike action (in action). Well! I think we survived adequately. The replacements were a breath of fresh air. They were not promenading like the usual suspects; they just reported the news, with little or no political bias, which is how it should be when reporting to mature folk.

So Chris Patten, we can start to shed many of these 'tarts', both male and female. How about two strikes and you're on the list. That should cool a few ardours.

IT IS PUBLIC MONEY WE'RE TALKING ABOUT.

REBEKAH OF SUNNYBROOK.

Now there's a surprise! The CEO of Murdoch's newspaper enterprises in the UK resigns. Rebekah Brooks has finally capitulated, much to the delight of the muppet, Thoroughly Modern Miliband. He, until recently, would have been delighted with her patronage, for what she represented; a favourable headline in one of the newspapers under her control. Such is the way of the seedy world of British politics; a headline, some spin.

Apparently, we are entering a period of kicking the very people that both major parties sought for support. In fact, since the advent of Blair, we have been ruled in the wake of a type of 'Murdochism'. Although not condoning any of the phone hacking, and finding the revelations of the Dowler and Soham incidents thoroughly abhorrent, when it comes to so-called celebrities, the writer couldn't care less.

However, what we now have to be wary about, is the power that Parliament might adopt, under the guise of a form of press control watchdog with teeth, as a way of getting it's own back, following the expenses scandal.

Something, however, particularly concerns me. Why is Julian Assange held in such high regard by the left wing press, for hacking into US top secret information?

ONE BIG PLAYGROUP

As Westminster descends into farce over the News International excesses, phone tapping etc., What we are overlooking here, is that all the parties were aware of what could happen, hoping that it might somehow be overlooked as time progressed. It is just possible that a decision was made during the Blair era to kick the problem into the long grass, along with the situation of contributions for honours; a seat in the Lords for example.

The cheek of the Labour party, trying to assume the high ground, by pushing for a judge to be appointed without pursuing the correct channels. It produced deputy leader, Harman, as the messenger, since Miliband is already tainted by his own accusations. The fact is, that both the Conservative and Labour parties are up to their armpits into Murdoch's mob. I don't blame Murdoch, he knows that all our party leaders are political simpletons. Blair was different, having studied sleaze at the feet of Bill Clinton. The trouble with Cameron is that he kept telling us he was the heir to Blair. Be assured this situation is going to run and run, when we should be concerning ourselves with £5 trillion of National Debt.

We probably need a General Election, with new personnel.

THE END OF THE LINE.

It may be the case that the loss of the rail contract, Thames Link, was due to the insistence of the coalition government sticking rigidly to the previous (Labour) Government's terms, regarding the assessment process. This is, of course, totally undemocratic. We had a change of government in May 2010 to rid us of the sycophantic Brussels licking twits, who hoped for a job within the 'gravy train' that is the European Union. What do we find now? Just another bunch of creeps, bowing and scraping to the latter.

Any self-respecting Prime Minister would have taken the opportunity to make a definite mark, reviewing the situation of such minefields as forthcoming contracts. We are familiar with the previous rail project, the farcical High Speed Train. That was awarded to the Japanese firm Hitachi; strangely, with little complaint from the media.

The whole ethos of sticking to the basic EU rules is so naive when the other members always favour their own companies. This is what happens when the party picks the wrong leader. Alright, Cameron is eloquent at the dispatch box, but he is just a 'political tart'.

I'M SURE WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF SUCH MISLEADING POLITICIANS.

To say that we are a new sales organization would be misleading, because, to mislead is our intention. All our negotiations take place behind closed doors, based on ideas from a bygone age. The aim is to return Britain to that sense of irresponsibility so prevalent during the mid 1970s. Our models are based on ideas from Marx and Trotsky; we only offer red, which saves on unnecessary literature. The model we are recommending at the moment is called the 'Scargill'. Since tyre deflation, we have had it standing on blocks for over a quarter of a century; but with backing from you all, we can get into reverse indefinitely.

Just think of the advantages: no car tax, as all the tax personnel are on perpetual strike; we immediately have savings by not having to purchase petrol/diesel; with the vehicle remaining on blocks, it's SORN all the way.

It is obviously important that we encourage those who are retarded, with urgency, as our online service will disappear as soon as we can influence power workers to join in this retrograde step.

MRS. MURRAY TAUGHT HIM TENNIS IN A HURRY.

The title of the article, as any self respecting fan of the age of proper songs would know, is a play on the song by Johnny Mercer/Victor Schertzinger, Arthur Murray taught me dancing etc.,

It is so easy to criticize British sports players, who are placed in an intolerable position by endless pundits, kidding us all on that this was Andy Murray's best ever chance. As tennis followers will recall, Murray, playing a good game, edged the first set. He then commenced the next set by winning his service game, and immediately gave himself a chance to break Rafael Nadal, but flunked a forehand; from then on many of his serves were well below the net cord. So don't let folk tell you that he lost to Nadal; in actual fact, he beat himself. The suspects were led, naturally, by the ridiculous coverage from the BBC, under the command of the silly Sue Barker. When are we going to grow up as a nation, and demand that we do the talking after the event. Growing up however is not a trait easily found in modern Britain.

We had a similar scenario at the US Open Golf tournament, where many were assuming that Lee Westwood would win; which, as we now know, was won by a country mile by the young Northern Irish Brit', Rory Mcllroy. Westwood, like Murray, very much a talented sportsman, close to the top of his sport, but has always 'blown up' in the final round of a number of majors, from the cat bird seat.

Both Murray and Westwood will enjoy a wonderful lifestyle, by being in the upper echelons of their respective sport; being surrounded by personal trainers, sports psychologists and various other advisers, sometimes, even mothers. As much as they would say that they want to be the best, to keep their sponsors and fans happy, secretly, they are very wealthy, and don't need to go the 'extra mile', lacking the ultimate hunger. Well, to the chagrin of many of my friends and relatives, I'm convinced I know why.

THEY'RE PRODUCTS OF A WELFARE STATE.
