ONE BIG PLAYGROUP
As Westminster descends into farce over the News International excesses, phone tapping etc., What we are overlooking here, is that all the parties were aware of what could happen, hoping that it might somehow be overlooked as time progressed. It is just possible that a decision was made during the Blair era to kick the problem into the long grass, along with the situation of contributions for honours; a seat in the Lords for example.
The cheek of the Labour party, trying to assume the high ground, by pushing for a judge to be appointed without pursuing the correct channels. It produced deputy leader, Harman, as the messenger, since Miliband is already tainted by his own accusations. The fact is, that both the Conservative and Labour parties are up to their armpits into Murdoch's mob. I don't blame Murdoch, he knows that all our party leaders are political simpletons. Blair was different, having studied sleaze at the feet of Bill Clinton. The trouble with Cameron is that he kept telling us he was the heir to Blair. Be assured this situation is going to run and run, when we should be concerning ourselves with £5 trillion of National Debt.
We probably need a General Election, with new personnel.
THEIR IS NOTHING WRONG WITH REDEFINING OUR PARLIAMENTARY ARRANGEMENTS.
