THE END OF THE LINE.
It may be the case that the loss of the rail contract, Thames Link, was due to the insistence of the coalition government sticking rigidly to the previous (Labour) Government's terms, regarding the assessment process. This is, of course, totally undemocratic. We had a change of government in May 2010 to rid us of the sycophantic Brussels licking twits, who hoped for a job within the 'gravy train' that is the European Union. What do we find now? Just another bunch of creeps, bowing and scraping to the latter.
Any self-respecting Prime Minister would have taken the opportunity to make a definite mark, reviewing the situation of such minefields as forthcoming contracts. We are familiar with the previous rail project, the farcical High Speed Train. That was awarded to the Japanese firm Hitachi; strangely, with little complaint from the media.
The whole ethos of sticking to the basic EU rules is so naive when the other members always favour their own companies. This is what happens when the party picks the wrong leader. Alright, Cameron is eloquent at the dispatch box, but he is just a 'political tart'.
I'M SURE WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF SUCH MISLEADING POLITICIANS.
