The current talk of an influenza pandemic is obviously a dream come true for the Government, as it stumbles from one crisis to another. To keep appearing in the media, updating us on the hour, with assurances that, as we are informed with equal regularity, the UK is the best prepared nation in the world for such a health scare.



Let us hope that this preparedness is better than the one in place to prevent us from going bust.
