SILENCE IS NOT GOLDEN.

Just when Her Majesty's opposition should be at it's most challenging, we get hardly a whimper. The situation in this country is dire. We need Westminster to be going at it 'hammer and tongs', pursuing the task each MP was voted in to perform.

If the Conservatives are not going to lay down a policy on cutting great swathes of local authority expenditure, by year on year reductions in the council tax. What is the point of a 'blue rinse' version of the same. If there is not to be a confrontation with the Unions now, then it will occur later. This decision must be confronted immediately. The nation cannot continue to lose jobs in the wealth-making sector, simultaneously being charged more to prop up non-jobs (in some cases) and pensions in the tax funded sector, to retire at sixty.

It would appear to the writer, that all an MP covets is that of the job, not the responsibilities that are associated with it. In actual fact, to win the next election on a standpoint of little or no policies is pointless. The Conservative Party, for long enough, pledged to match Labour's spending promises. How stupid can one be! If the public didn't spot what was happening before the last general election, they certainly know now.

OH FOR A PROPER TORY PARTY.
