As the Arch Druid of Canterbury suggests embracing aspects of Sharia Law, which would be similar to being a little bit pregnant, or contracting a mild dose of bubonic plague, one of his Bishops, Michael Nazir-Ali, Bishop of Rochester with a pedigree of traditional Christian beliefs decides that enough is enough. He sees his future in an independent battle supporting small groups of Christians from the oppression of Islam. Ultimately, this will occur on mainland UK and will only mean conflict. The obvious course would be to confront this problem immediately, but doesn't appear to be such a large concern compared, for example, with paid paternity leave and equality in the workplace. This being a complete departure from the teachings of Sharia thinking.

We will reap the consequences of this oversight far too late we fear. It obviously isn't a priority that has accepted a situation of doing as Westminster directs. All this triggered Nazir-Ali's decision to resign, as British morality submerges out of sight and the nation gets dumber and dumber.

It doesn't seem to occur to the population to study where our democracy, sense of fairness, a need for a basic education and above all the freedoms that have been fought for over the centuries came from. Well it wasn't the tooth fairy.
