NOT A SOCIALIST OR A CLOUD IN SIGHT.

We find it quite strange on our annual trips to catch up with relatives in South Wales (on this occasion Barry was the destination), we never bump into a Labour supporter. I'm sure there must be some. Not a sign of Gavin and Stacy either.


Cardiff is a fine city, having a considerable amount of regeneration, with some superb eating establishments. However, one suspects that tax payer GB has picked up much of the bill, as with the North East.


One of the highlights of the trip was an excellent musical evening performed by a superb male voice choir (forgotten how to spell the name), supported by a Marine Corps band. This was held at the St. David's concert hall.
