CAMERON AT THE CROSSROADS.

The leader of the opposition is beginning to sound like a politician. This is his defining moment. His rhetoric is good. He has however to act like the boss. Can he now take command, by first of all, hauling his still fragmented party into an unstoppable force. To do that he must gauge the feeling of the electorate regarding the EU. The people must always come first if he aims to be a success.

Telling the public of the problems that we face is exactly the route to take. We have suggested here previously that, for example, for at least two years we must reduce the council tax. Making local authorities responsible for reducing the burden on their locality, with the locals to do the monitoring. To perform this we need to be in a position, not only to oust these representatives, but also to penalise them. Sequestration of pensions a possibility. In effect we have to make these people scared to take office unless their intentions are honourable.

One of the significant areas to be considered is the current 'Harwomen' Bill before the house, debating equality in the work place. There is absolutely nothing wrong with either sex getting the same reward for the same occupation. This, however, must come at the same price. Everyone must retire at the same time. Male, female, be it in both the Public or Private sector.

So David Cameron; this is your moment. Don't shirk it.

MOST OF ALL, DON'T BE SCARED OF LOSING THE NEXT ELECTION.

IT WILL BE A GOOD ONE TO LOSE.
