'QUESTION TIME' - PLUS COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR.
As ever, last night's 'Question Time' was loaded with a cast from the 'central pool'. It's such a pity that they can't include at least one proper person weekly. After all, politics and their affect on the public is what it is all about. Following the obvious questions on this weeks topics, including one on the average Brits response to the snow, we had the usual mixture of answers, both responsible and irresponsible. No one was brave enough to vilify the nation over it's inherent laziness. Unsurprisingly, an employer in the audience mentioned that, of her workforce, only the foreigners showed up. The thing that concerned the writer most was a dim aside from a school teacher, who warned in best soothsaying form, that with the advancing 'global warming' we can expect more of these harsh winters, almost as though the UK had been singled out for this and future treatment. I'm sure that most of us are well aware of the awful weather currently around the Mediterranean Sea. The disaster is that this educationalist is brainwashing a generation of schoolchildren. I wonder if she would bet her pension on her theory, for theory is all it is.
Are there only a few sceptics including Dr. David Bellamy and myself who understand the folly of this new religion?
