THE BLAME GAME.
Having shivered our way through the latter part of November, the whole of December, which will include a snowy and frosty Christmas, swathes of travellers want to point the finger at someone, anyone. What these folk overlook is the fact that we are spending billions on the myth of 'global warming', when we could be investing a fraction of the cost on things to help us during these severe winters, which appear to be a regular feature now.
The subject of the weather is considered to be a favourite with the Brits, why therefore don't we take Government to task on the subject? Our taxes are far too precious to be thrown at such fanciful nonsense as wind turbines, although the wind is due to increase slightly; so far this month we could not have fried an egg against the amount of electricity produced by such wasteful means.
We can't ignore the fact also that some of these taxes go towards illegal immigration, which does not come cheaply, adding to the National Debt of £4.8 trillion and rising. Much of this debt is also due to borrowing to pay off our loans; this has to be one of the worst forms of accountancy, along with the City of Nottingham charging a work place levy on workers to subsidize passengers on a second tram network, when many of the passengers regularly avoid paying the fare.
