IT'S AVAILABLE, IT KILLS AND IT'S LEGAL.

All my life I have known what I enjoy, and the simple things that make life so satisfying. Personally, the ingredients needed, happen to be good music, played or sung well; and the opportunity to create something of use with a little DIY. For some time now this appears restrictive to the young folk of today, who seem to want non-melodic, so called music, enhanced by the artificial additive of a powerful substance, which in most cases is detrimental to the health of the person who imbibes.

Hence the disastrous news this last week, involving the death of two young men in Scunthorpe, following their indulgence of the substance 'Mephedrone'. This is a concoction readily available online, the beauty of which is that it is legal. We couldn't get enough of personnel from the establishment, police and government agencies emphasizing that this killer drug is legal, which doesn't erase the fact that people are dead, foolishly playing with this poison.

Why is it that my generation considers all the downside of such irresponsible activities? Perhaps it all started in 1945, when socialism made it's first substantial mark on the nation, eradicating the need for personal responsibility.
