HOW CAN THE CUPBOARD BE LESS THAN BARE?

Can our neophyte of a Prime Minister explain the following? Only this week, while attending the Commonwealth conference, he is suggesting more debt, by promising additional aid to third world countries. This can only occur via smoke and mirrors and won't go unnoticed by the world's banking system, which must have us on probation.

Very soon, this Godfather of all things economic and green will be heading for Copenhagen, to whip Barack Obama into line. This will have to be a rush job, as the President will only be there briefly, for two reasons:
1. The Americans are very suspicious of this 'green is beautiful campaign'.
2. He, Obama, is on his way to collect his man of the match award in Sweden. This, as pointed out before, is for being on the pitch for five minutes and, as yet, done little or nothing with the ball. Brown will of course want to get close enough to Obama, hoping for an arm around his shoulder.

This, naturally, will only accelerate Taxpayer GB going deeper into the 'red' and, in more ways than one, if we continue to refuse to acknowledge the dilemma created by this incompetent.

WE THREE IN UNHAPPYDROME.

This week saw our intrepid party leaders, Brown/Cameron/Clegg, addressing the CBI. The Prime Minister was spouting his Keynes theories, which include printing and borrowing money to spend our way out of recession. This approach is undoubtedly to help him stagger to the finishing line next May/June. If this were an acceptable method, it would have to be backed by a strong manufacturing base, however, we are aware that this no longer exists, and all we would achieve would be to make manufacturing nations wealthy by way of vastly increased imports.

Alternatively, Cameron at least acknowledges the need for considerable prudence; as with any economy, national or domestic, we cannot live off borrowed money. This is the only stance now left to us, as I am sure that the IMF is standing by to consider our financial status in the world. Clegg's opinion is probably not important, even if we finish up with a 'hung parliament'.

It is now looking ominous that the misleading suggestion we are emerging from this economic mess is because of Brown's handling of the economy. This only indicates the lack of understanding by the general public. We have this enormous problem because of Brown, who makes the situation more dire every day.

THE LAST QUANGO IN BRUSSELS.

Any clear thinker who prefers democracy rather than an unelected Marxist dictatorship, must now decide that what happened in Sweden this last week i.e the election of an EU President along with Baroness Ashton, the Quango Queen, installed as High Representative for foreign and security policy, needs to be debated. Ashton, a politician who has never, according to reports, been elected to any political position. She also has form in misleading the dim Upper House, steering the Lisbon treaty past them, plus, having been prominent in the CND movement. Presumably you are all feeling more secure by the minute. Both these Eurocrats will be guiding policies which will be paid for by taxpayer GB.

A cynical view of the undemocratic regress of the Commission would suggest, that neither Germany nor France will treat either posts as more than puppet figureheads. We in Britain, conversely, will hang onto every suggested edict, implementing them with vulgar urgency, in the name of job creation. More taxes.

It would be easy to say that our time is running out. That isn't the case. What does happen, is that the forces needed to return to democracy have to be more and more aggressive as time passes.

ANOTHER CONCUBINE.

Cameron wants us to believe that he dislikes centralised government. Don't believe it! He has little interest in local decisions and requires that he has his way, to impose more of his concubines on the beleaguered electorate, in the name of quotas and diversity.

The extraordinary aspect of all this political window dressing is that UK Government is about to be rendered powerless by an unelected law maker in the form of EU President.

We just hope the reaction to all this childlike nonsense is checked by the few thinkers that are left, before a major response from a disenfranchised public. The air is thick with disenchantment.

You are on the wrong track entirely Cameron. If you want to be a socialist, cross the floor. Defying a once proud, independent nation is considered amongst many to be treachery.

TAKE NOTE BEFORE THE GOING GETS ROUGH.

THE BELGIANS FORGET ONE THING.

As the undemocratic choosing of a law making, unelected, President of the European Socialist Federation gets under way, it is emerging from the Belgian press that they are becoming very anti-British. This would be reasonable if the aggression were directed at contender Blair. This appears not to be the case, however, they, the Belgian press, are having a go at us in general. The point about the English language is totally off course, when suggesting that foreigners can't speak it properly; on the contrary, due to the dumbing down by New Labour and the BBC, the language, generally, is spoken far better in other parts of the world. Regarding the question of beer: Very often it is too cold and many a good real ale out flavours the boring over-hyped continental lagers. We can't argue about the weather, and we certainly can't do a thing about it. However, it is worth recalling that we entered WWI, having told Germany not to violate Belgium soil.

ALL THE FACTS PLEASE, BELGIUM.

ANTARCTIC DEFIES GLOBAL WARMING.

It's reassuring that the myth of climate change is just that, a myth. A Russian cruise ship, full of sightseers in search of emperor penguins, has been stranded in unseasonal ice in the region due to advanced signs of global cooling.

THE NEXT RACE IS THE POLITICAL HANDICAP.

Evidently, at the last general election, although the Tories got most of the popular vote in England, they could not oust the New Labour rabble, mainly because of it's Scottish bias. This naturally gave Scotland the added opportunity to keep the majority 'the English', in line. The main consideration, however, is the fact that in that election it took 45,000 votes to secure a Conservative win against a mere 27,600 for a Labour victory, and it will be a similar situation next year, when the country will be asked to decide once more. I have never heard a convincing argument to support the way constituency boundaries are formed. Should we keep our current, over-populated regime at Westminster. Then perhaps someone will consider changes to these boundaries.

Why should we, therefore, let this nonsense, which is the UK Government (whisper it softly), continue in its present form? At this blog site, we consider it high time for a change. We could operate with a mere handful of representatives to form a government. In this electronic age, let us get the nation to vote on constitutional changes. There would never then be MPs saying that they are listening to the voters, when patently they are not. Of course this would be difficult to implement initially. The Swiss nevertheless already have a system along these lines.

LET US GET RADICAL.

DON'T EXPECT THE BBC TO KEEP US INFORMED.

As a regular viewer of the 'six-o-clock news' on the 'Beeb', I hope that the costly public service broadcaster is going to keep me up to date with all the significant news. If this were the case, why did it not mention the most important piece of news from last week, that the EU, for the fifteenth year running, was found by the auditors to be as fraudulent as ever? Yes! this is the outfit into which our government invests mountains of our money. The two major parties, along with the bridesmaid, the Libdems, all back this arrangement.

This is one of the major reasons why we must have regular votes with regard to our funding of this sleazy outfit. Should Shell, BP, or Rolls Royce operate on this basis, they would be facing investigation, rather like the case of BAE Systems.

A QUIET WEEK AT THE OFFICE.

Apart from personal abuse and the odd spelling-B, Gordon Brown has not been jetting hither and thither, saving the world. He'll be telling us next that this part of his mission is now complete. That being the case, why is it that the UK economy is stuck firmly to the bottom?

The only other aspects worth recalling were triggered by letters to the press. The first took the subject of referenda. The correspondent made the case, mostly adopted by MPs, that they are elected to make decisions on behalf of the electorate. The problem with this happens to be the flaw that was created by devolution. The popular vote in England was won by the Tories and, had they had the upper hand, we would have had a referendum on the constitutional treaty. The writer made the claim that the majority of voters wouldn't have a clue about which way to vote; that is because politicians are not open enough, avoiding the opportunity for the public to get involved. The conclusion to this is fairly obvious, the MPs are seeking favour to escape the useless waste of money that is Westminster, for a job, unelected naturally, in the bowels of Brussels, where all the laws are made.

The other letter was a delightful 'tongue in cheek' look at crime. The essence of the text suggested that if we could only rid ourselves of victims, we would reduce crime dramatically.

Oh yes! We did have another 'Dally' Duncan moment, he's the despicable MP for Rutland and Melton. Evidently he considers himself nothing more than a Parish councillor.

WELL DALLY, AT LEAST IT'S A STEP UP.

KINNOCHIO TO HAVE NOSE JOB.

Following recent disclosures of former TUC boss Jack Jones and his association with the KGB, see posting, 'HAVE YOU MET JACK JONES', 9th. Oct. 09. Well! former leader of the comrades of the Labour party, hater of the EU, one time commissioner of that despicable, fraudulent institution and now a peer of the realm, Lord Kinnock, according to the diaries of the Russian 'go between' Anatoly Chernyaev, currently being unravelled in the USA, was probably the last of the 'Pinkoes' to act in a totally treacherous way, to undermine the democratically elected government. For years The Labour party, along with the TUC, was conniving against our sovereignty.

I suspect this is not the kind of news we can expect to hear in a BBC broadcast. So keep in touch with this blog.

KINNOCK AND HIS LADY RECEIVE HUGE AMOUNTS OF TAXPAYER GB'S FUNDS.

PROPER TORIES REDUCED TO TWO ONLY.

How strange that the real Conservative Party has collapsed to only two active members, following the capitulation of 'Diddie David'. Daniel Hannan and Roger Helmer need to be congratulated on resigning from their front bench positions as MEPs, in the face of Cameron's about turn.

The author was in conversation with Mr. Helmer last month and it was easy to see that he has the interest of taxpayer GB at heart, a man of integrity. Immediately, however, the main body of pseudo Conservative MPs in Westminster react like socialists by calling them names.

The Conservative Party has much to do before it can form an effective administration, by sorting out a front bench to deliver real Tory policies. The incoming Government, whoever it is, will face the most uphill battle ever. Should, for example, a Lib/Lab cobbled Government manifest itself, expect the IMF to step in, to force swingeing cuts in public spending.

A POSSIBILITY, FOLLOWING CAMERON'S COLLAPSE.

CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY FOR UKIP.

As the blue rinse socialist, Chicken 'Chick' Cameron, runs for the nearest fire escape door, regarding the contrived ratification of the deceitful Lisbon Treaty, he may be correct on the surface that it would be pointless to have a referendum on the ratified treaty. Well, as pointed out by the man who should have led the party, David Davis, there are endless aspects of our relationship with Europe upon which we should be consulted. Let us get used to referenda; this should be in operation in order to reverse the method used by Brussels, so that, whenever they try to trump our ace, we just have another referendum forcing them to stack their hand.

This is, of course, manna from heaven for the UKIP in particular and, to a degree, the BNP. We soon forget what gives strength to these fringe parties. It is just possible that the former could gain significant numbers of votes, thereby creating a 'hung parliament'. On the one hand we could have the repeat of a 'Lib/Lab' pact, sucking up to our new bosses in Brussels. Alternatively, if UKIP made substantial gains, they could become a force, if joined with the proper conservatives.

It will be interesting to see what different political contortions Cameron assumes during the period in the run up to the General Election.

But don't forget, that whatever happens, unless logical people make a move, we have been sold down the river, to be pushed around by unelected bureaucrats. We can only see a backlash here if we continue to avoid democracy.

Finally, we must never forget who forced this situation upon the UK, Blair and Brown. Let us consider what charges they must face for their treachery.

UNFORTUNATELY, UNREST SEEMS TO BE THE FUTURE.

HOME SECRETARY CRACKS NUTT.

In the early nineties, the author was an active member of the local neighbourhood watch. Occasionally, we would invite guest speakers; all relevant to the cause. Their topics ranged from tips on security to victim support. However, the one that was the most impressive was a young police officer from the 'Drugs Squad'. His interest in his job was paramount and he was determined to rid society of the evils of drug abuse. We shouldn't be surprised if the unit has long since been disbanded, or diluted.

The theme of his talk was based around the fact that most sufferers of abuse from class A drugs invariably started with cannabis or other so called recreational stimulants. This, in most cases, has completely destroyed many lives and, furthermore, has cost us all considerable amounts of money via the NHS.

Enter Professor Nutt, a so called drugs expert, who points out that cannabis and ecstasy, along with others, are not too harmful; by comparison with alcohol and tobacco they should be acceptable. Although I agree that binge drinking is dangerous to both the individual and, very often, others, how can cannabis (skunk), of which we are informed frequently as being a damaging substance, become acceptable on that basis? The whole argument is ridiculous, since it appears that the Professor thinks what he considers to be soft drugs should not fall foul of the law.

Tell that to a relation of mine who happens to be an 'Intensive Care Nurse'. The beds in her unit are often filled with addicts in a hopeless condition. We pay for this self -inflicted misery.

WE'RE WITH YOU ALAN JOHNSON.
