WHEN IS A TREATY NOT A TREATY?

The answer to the above is, of course, when it has been tampered with to suit the voter, as in the case of the so called Lisbon Treaty, which was voted down by the Republic of Ireland. The latter, therefore, were obliged to keep voting on a variant until they said yes. Incidentally, taxpayer GB would have provided monies for the EU's yes campaign, which also encouraged European politicians to coerce the public.

How strange that the European Union, which espouses democracy to the rest of the world, does not practise what it preaches.

THE IRISH VOTED AGAINST THE PROPER LISBON TREATY.
