THIS YEAR'S GALL ALSO COMES IN BROWN.
How on earth can the Prime Minister make a speech so ludicrous as to try and rally the troops at the Labour Party conference? His policies remain as inane as ever and very expensive; he didn't even mention where the money would come from. The dozy audience loved every minute of the rhetoric which promised billions more of spending. The author suspects that any financial lifeline is about to be severed.
Incapability Brown spends so much time ridiculing the opposition, with regard to their lack of experience, unaware that, to the disbelief of the brighter voter, he himself has held high office without an iota of training, that is unless we consider running the Christmas club at university a good enough grounding in economics. Blair had no form either. Therefore Brown can hardly be called a safe pair of hands.
His long game is, of course, to install the possibility of all these proposals in peoples' heads, then to accuse the next Government for not taking them up.
WHAT A PATHETIC CLOWN.
