A SOUR TASTE.
I was interested in an item in the Sunday press, showing millions of gallons of surplus milk being dispersed on farm land in Belgium.
This is done to keep the price of milk artificially high. The action reminded me of an old edition of Question Time, possibly going back to the time of Robin Day. In this particular programme, Ted Heath was berating Robin Cook, pointing out that this was what Labour governments are partial to doing in the UK.
Isn't socialism wonderful?
WASTE NOT, WANT NOT.
