NHS: THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY.
As a regular patient of the National Health Service it would be churlish of me not to give it some plaudits, as I'm treated exceptionally well, enjoying a good relationship with my GP, my eye doctor and the staff at the Venesection facility, the latter I refer to as my personal vampires. The condition haemochromatosis requires the extraction of blood, to keep the ferritin (iron) at a respectable level. Genuinely, none of this is patronisation. Why shouldn't we enjoy this service, we are paying through the nose for it.
We cannot, however, ignore the cases where patients complain. MRSA and C-Dif are not myths. To live in denial of such occurrences is completely foolish. Labour Governments love to make a big deal of the NHS, which long ago was turned into a political football. Cameron equally espouses that he considers it to be the most important thing in politics. So be prepared to throw even more money, which we haven't got, at it. Incidentally, the most important aspect of politics is to make sure that we can afford these things.
Recently, awaiting an appointment at a brand new treatment centre, I was discussing the facility with a fellow patient, who, unfortunately, couldn't understand when I explained to him that the emporium was not paid for; not even noted anywhere as a debt. Just one of the many lies perpetuated by New Labour. Add to this a favourite topic in previous postings, the thousands of abortions carried out annually for reasons of convenience. Heaven knows how much treatment for the rest of the world costs, coming to Britain with rare diseases.
Enter Daniel Hannan: The writer can take to this man quite easily, not necessarily agreeing with all his views, but the fact that he has opened up a debate, that is if we can get beyond ridiculing these views, which the left is using as a way to get at Cameron. They are so pathetic.
Hannan's comments on US television are a revelation, inasmuch as he is pointing to the downside, and there is always a downside, particularly in throwing OPM (other peoples money) about. Having lived in denial with regard to the importing of millions of unwanted immigrants to Britain, many illegal, who naturally benefit from our contributions. On this note, when in the USA last year, the writer pointed out that half of Mexico would endeavour to decamp to the States, should they go down the NHS route.
THE NHS MUST BE REMOVED FROM POLITICS.
