Strange that we should be championing John Mann, Labour MP for Bassettlaw in North Notts., as he was one of the members who insisted that his colleagues should be honest when it comes to spending taxpayer GB's hard earned cash. I understand that he is now ostracised around the Palace of Westminster; but what would you expect from an assembly consisting of much rabble. One of the few other Labour Members we have rated as a cut above the rest, Frank Field, is not coming out of this situation smelling of roses, as he intends to appeal against his claim. Individually he may have a point but the big flaw in the politicians' case will remain that they made their own laws to spend our money. Very Brussels-esque.
