BIGOTRY, PROBABLY; TREACHERY, CERTAINLY.
What a childlike programme the recent edition of Question Time turned out to be. We had the BNP's Nick Griffin caged rather like an animal for baiting, surrounded by Jack 'the last' Straw, Baroness Warsi, Chris Huhne and Bonnie Greer; it would be fair to say that the women made the better showing on the night, but that isn't saying much. The topic of the week was postal services, with not even a mention. If Griffin was there to be exposed, then he should have had the opportunity to answer direct questions on the NHS, Iraq and Afghanistan. From such questioning the public would be able to assess whether or not he has any substance. The one area where he didn't have to say anything at all was on immigration, as our Justice Secretary shot himself in the foot. This was immediately exposed by the Baroness and the elegantly dressed black gent in the audience. We have been totally mislead, however, by all the main parties regarding this very sensitive subject, along with the lies told regarding the EU. As long as such mendacity continues the BNP can expect more people to vote for them.
STRANGELY, THIS IS HOW DEMOCRACY WORKS.
