MERITOCRACY OR THE WAY BACKWARDS.

The consideration of quotas has reared its ridiculous head again, little boys never learn. Any suggestion of Cameron adopting the socialist pursuit of rigging the nominations for election of MP's will see my vote go elsewhere, should there be a suitable candidate.

As democratic politics no longer exist in the UK, the prime function of the Westminster assembly is merely to ratify edicts from Brussels; we could probably train next door's cat to perform that function. This pretence of diversity is what we have come to expect from a nation so lacklustre that we are considered a laughing stock elsewhere.
