BUSINESS AS USUAL - 'MELT DOWN'

With the crisis in the Labour Party raging as we write, following a drubbing at the polls from two directions, how on earth does Britain tolerate a so called Government, which fails to govern?

The implication is that Brown is the only person qualified to see us through our current problems. What a monstrous finding, as it was he who created this unholy mess at home, due to his unfunded profligacy. As with any socialist, working on the understanding that any shortfall is picked up by taxpayer GB. The 'Babes' have fled in droves, an act that has hardly affected the brain cell quotient of the cabinet. Cameron take note!

We are left wondering what part of 'clear off ', particularly regarding local government and Brussels, is difficult for the Government to understand. What kind of saviour completely ignores what the electorate is saying?

The local elections in the author's home county proved a success for democracy, returning a Tory council for the first time in twenty eight years. The platform for the victory was the victors' opposition to additional tram routes, which would spread a charge across the county to serve but a small minority around parts of the county town. Socialism loves a two tier system.

The EU poll was, as we now know, another disaster for Labour. Beating ones own chest berating the BNP is not going to halt it's progress, in fact, it probably gives them more credence. The Government can only blame itself, by failing to ask for the electorate's opinions. To tamper with the nations sovereignty, without being cleared, should prove terminal for any administration.

This evening the Prime Minister has been forgiven for his belligerence, with a promise to be re-trained. Just another little bill for us to pick up.

JUST KEEP HIM IN THE POST FOR THE NEXT YEAR.
