ANOTHER CHRISTMAS UNDER THE BELT.

As the news is full of a mixture of store sales and killings, unfortunately, at least one incident combined the two. When will the nation stop to think how important deterrents, via the law, are the only way to achieve a return to a more tolerant society?

The obsession with cut price goods, made generally abroad, is not going to solve the vast problem of our national debt; plus the fact that the amount of money spent by the customers will have increased many a personal debt.

The 'Greens' had a better Christmas season, due to a higher wind force than in recent years; this gave us an opportunity to cook the turkey to perfection, but remember this, it won't be around every year!

Finally, one of my presents arrived in a suitable paper carrier bag with ribbon handles. As is my wont, I looked on the underside for the usual instructions, and was not disappointed, 'not suitable for children under 36 months, due to tourniquet hazard'. One can only wonder what type of person, or committee, can possibly come up with this drivel. Be assured, however, that they are fighting to retain retirement at sixty, with a pension subsidised by the private sector, who, in many cases, will never be able to retire.

ENJOY THE ENDLESS BREAK.
