CHRISTMAS COMES BUT ONCE A YEAR.
Another season of goodwill is upon us, although one wouldn't notice, with some of our politicians plainly determined to destroy the traditional family gatherings. What, may I ask, is wrong with a good strong family unit? Does the man from 'Cleggoland' really think that the nation operates more efficiently without the combined authority of two parents? Such an approach can only be in pursuit of creating masses of people dependent upon government to provide for them; heaven only knows who pays for all such folly. At least the Prime Minister has realised that many people want a return to traditional standards, which includes those wishing to pursue our indigenous religion. It beggars belief that the type of guidance required by many, is one of respect for other people, all covered comprehensively by Christianity. Of course, there are other religions that also espouse goodness and kindness towards others, and this is, undoubtedly, acceptable to the majority.
Let us hopefully prepare ourselves for a very difficult task ahead, bearing in mind, that for those of us who are senior citizens, our children and grandchildren will have to clear up the mess of the folk who thought that they could have it all without paying the bill.
NEVERTHELESS, A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.
