HERE WE GO, LOOBY LOU!

Following the Police shooting of an apparent 'gangland' boss, Mark Duggan, the local constabulary were ill prepared for what was about to happen. For example: Detective Chief Superintendent Sandra Looby, a few hours prior to the disgraceful vandalism/looting, dispatched herself for a holiday in the sun. Obviously I have no idea whether or not she anticipated such a reaction by the local bad blood; nevertheless, she fled the district.

What concerns the author is, what are all these women doing in such positions? We had the incident some time ago of the killing of an innocent Brazilian electrician; a decision taken by a female officer. This action turned out to be a very good career move, as she is now Assistant Chief Commissioner Cressida Dick. In my home county of Nottinghamshire we have a Chief Constable Julia Hodson. Although not blaming her directly for the increased violent crime, many of which are murders, she is there, along with all the other senior female officers, to insist upon a form of 'pussyfoot policing'.

Naturally we don't do much better with the feminised males, who seem to percolate to the top. In PC David Copperfield's book,' Wasting Police Time', in which he points out that a police headquarters building can have it's car park full, without many officers performing any actual police work. What so many are doing is attending diversity courses, because that is where promotion lies.
