MORE SUPPORT RE: THE NATIONAL DEBT.

In addition to our previous postings following Martin Durkin's documentary of Nov. 2010, 'IF YOU'RE A SOCIALIST, LOOK AWAY NOW' (12/11/10) and 'JUST WHEN YOU THINK IT'S ALL CLEAR' (10/5/10). A letter in this week's press from Lord Clifford of Chudleigh highlights one of the facets from the Durkin film, the part played by John Cowperthwaite, Financial Secretary for Hong Kong between 1961/71. Cowperthwaite introduced a tax regime encouraging people to work. This model has been pursued rigorously throughout Asia, including China; only a fool could ignore the success created by this.

Just to mention once more that our National Debt is now approaching £5 trillion, taking all the projected expenditure into account.

ENCOURAGEMENT TO WORK IS THE ANSWER.
