THE DECLINE OF A PROUD NATION.

What an absolute tragedy that a nation, once known for it's fairness under the law, has slithered, at the behest of Europe, into a morass of obscene decisions; to vilify good upstanding citizens, presumably hard working, for their justifiable christian stance on the subject of homosexuality. They, Peter and Hazelmary Bull, prefer, quite reasonably so, not to receive bookings at their Cornwall hotel from people of the same gender intent on sleeping together. This to any mature clear thinking adult is understandable. Incidentally, this is the kind of decision that in Switzerland would be decided by referendum; this blogger has no idea which way the vote would go, but at least democracy would be tested, something we should be practising regularly.

Regarding the court case that the Bulls lost, their costs were underwritten by a christian organization; not so the homosexual plaintiffs, tax payer GB picked up their immense tab. In addition to their setback, which will probably include the loss of the hotel business, Peter and Hazelmary are coming under attack online; we shouldn't have to look too far for the culprits, but nothing will happen. Just another step towards the demise of the western world.

There was a time when the freedom of religion abounded in Britain, not so now, as we submerge into the mire imposed upon us by Europe. This is probably nothing more than a game to the law makers.

ME AND MY SHADOW CHANCELLOR.

George Osborne soon had the backward 'All Ed' (Balls) pointing out the error of his ways, following the downturn in the economy over the final quarter of 2010. This is exceedingly rich from one of the architects who created this economic mess. Balls, in his best pseudo-estuary lingo,(amusing, coming from a Marxist father who had his son educated privately at the Nottingham Boys' High School), said Osborne should look to a plan to help the economy. Balls is convinced that we should not stop spending on public projects; we might wonder who will loan us the money to continue in such an irresponsible manner. To pursue Balls' approach would soon have our credit rating decimated, automatically increasing the repayments against the enormous debt left by the Labour Government.

It is unfortunate that the recent weather obviously had some effect on the economy, as much of the country came to a halt. The problem, as the author sees it, could more likely be the uncertainty in the currency markets. Particularly in the Eurozone, where many of our client nations are suffering disastrous financial concerns, already weighed down by problematic credit ratings.

In addition to his face-pulling antics, Balls then plays to the gallery about persecuting high earners with even more tax, plus suggesting a 'mansion tax' which is high on his agenda. He thinks this is a way to reduce our debt but, unfortunately, what it does particularly well is to scare off the high earners.

Balls also talks of slowing down the deficit reduction. Let's make something quite clear here: The deficit is the annual borrowing, around £150 billion per year, this is compounding our National Debt, which stands at £4.8 trillion and rising.

DO WE REALLY WANT A MARXIST STATE?

ENTER BALLS, STAGE LEFT.

As the leader of Her Majesty's Opposition has a reshuffle forced upon him, Thoroughly Modern Miliband has to bite the bullet, and elevate 'All Ed' (Balls) to be shadow Chancellor. If that is not enough, this has created the opportunity for Mrs. Balls (Minnie Cooper) to take on a more responsible brief. It is difficult, however, to imagine ultra left-wingers showing responsibility. They will be able, collectively, to shout across the floor of the House, "Spend, Spend".

What is significant here, is the fact that it took all those years of conning by Blair and his New Labour outfit to devise a truly Marxist opposition; both Miliband and Balls emanate from a Marxist family background.

Balls no doubt will be breathing fire and Keynes all of the time. He won't, of course, quote Alastair Cook, who famously pointed out that the first leaders to adopt Maynard Keynes' theories were Hitler and Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the 1930's. To succeed with such theories, the nation would need a sound manufacturing base; this would not prove to be Britain's strongest suit.

BALLS WAS ALSO INSTRUMENTAL IN ENGINEERING OUR CURRENT ECONOMIC CRISIS.

CONFUSED CAMERON.

When the Prime Minister doubts MP Bill Cash's conservative credentials, surely we shall see an emergence of a breakaway group; one that is keen to serve the requirements of proper conservatives. Such an assembly is bound to happen, as the responsible wing of conservatism realises the direction the Coalition is taking the Nation.

We have commenced this week venturing into areas that would have been a policy too far for the absurd Harriet Harwoman. The case in point is the usual naive tripe surrounding child birth. Nick Clegg is promoting new fathers to enjoy even more time off work to assist with family matters, and bonding perhaps. Is it little wonder that the western world is falling into uncontrollable debt? We can only assume that Confused of No 10 has given this dog's dinner his blessing. The one advantage of this exercise could be that, in most cases, the mother is unsure who the father is. On second thoughts, this could lead to additional legislation, allowing a number of suspects getting this leave of absence simultaneously.

We understand that Clegg is trying to recover his position with the army of people who are on the take.

WHAT ABOUT PROPER CONSERVATISM?

OLDHAM EAST AND SADDLE-SORE.

With an increased majority, the inept Labour Party improved it's vote in the first by-election since the General Election. So what does it tell us about the electorate? Well! In that constituency, we obviously have more people on the take rather than contributing. They also hope that somebody else will pick up the tab for the National Debt. This is not surprising in an area that backs cheats and liars.

Thoroughly Modern Miliband confirmed this with his assessment of the situation, denying that they would not have increased VAT, putting an extra tax burden on the worker via p.a.y.e, and avoiding the people on benefits, who are, obviously, Labour's core vote.

When studying the Opposition's shadow team, the leader of the Treasury's Pack is a former postman (Postman Pat), who drops one clanger after another. They, the Labour Party, sought the advice of Lord Brown with regard to increasing student fees, having introduced the system originally.

Beware the trap of promises that cannot be kept. The economy will not be able to afford it, possibly for generations to come. If per chance we returned to a Labour administration, sterling would go into a tailspin.

INCIDENTLY, HOW MANY READERS ASK THEIR POSTMAN FOR BUDGETRY ADVICE?

'NADINE, NADINE', COULD BE A COUNTRY AND WESTERN SONG!

There was a time when this blog spoke highly of Nadine Dorries. She spoke out clearly leading the anti-abortion debate some time ago (PLEASE, NOT CAMERON'S CONCUBINES. 1/5/09). Since then, however, she has gone downhill rapidly in the author's opinion.

Dorries' stand on MP's expenses is bad enough, but to blab online regarding her love life is pathetic. We have absolutely no reason to be informed of the circumstances of her relationship with her married beau. His circumstances are his business and not for general release; families are involved here!

The medium that is highlighted in this instance is online information. One could argue that this is the system that is bringing these thoughts to any potential reader. Shouldn't we, therefore, be seeking some kind of protection of the innocent in the face of immature gossip.

IT'S THAT TRAM AGAIN!

There is no greater example of misleading the public over GB taxpayer expenditure than the pure gall adopted by the creative accounting of Nottingham City Council regarding the city's farcical tram system. The following are two paragraphs from a letter published in the Nottingham Post (29/12/10).

"I cited the case of Nottingham City Transport Ltd., and the special purpose PFI vehicle Arrow that was set up to build and operate the tram.

I am truly astounded by the logic of international accounting standards, as applied in the UK to PFI projects, should allow an organisation like NCT to exclude it's share of Arrow's losses from it's balance sheet, yet include in it's profit and loss account the income received for operating the tram by a joint venture from the very same special purpose vehicle".

There are earlier postings on this subject: ON TRACK FOR A MAMMOTH OVERSPEND (2/8/09), THE TRAM TO FINANCIAL RUIN (9/2/10) and DIMWITS MAKE A COMEBACK (4/6/10). All of which point the finger at the diabolical tricks of modern socialism when intent on fooling the gullible public.

LIQUID GOLD IS COMING TO A PETROL PUMP NEAR YOU.

With the new taxes about to be added to the inflationary cost of petrol, we could be close to a reaction from the public. Some say it's a burden too far for the less well off, what is far more dangerous, is the damage it will instill on the economy; this in turn will have a dire effect on the Nation as a whole.

It can be argued that this form of tax collection is environmentally friendly. Don't buy it! Some of the income may well go towards fanciful wind turbines, much however will probably go to the NHS, which treats patients who haven't paid a penny towards the vast cost. Another bottomless pit is in education, trying to teach in a multilingual school must be enormously expensive. Plus the extortionate cost of benefits, particularly those directed at the enormous families who have no intention of working , as having more and more children proves to be a good investment. Add to these excesses, endless sideshows over which the Government, any Government, love to retain power; all part of job creation.

So let us return to a favourite theme of these blogs. Publication online will do. Of all these re-directed taxes i.e robbing Peter to pay Paul, creative accountancy tricks (honestly of course); something that would be immensely difficult for the Government to comply with, knowing full well that taxpayer GB is going to get raised hackles; some of us are already at this stage.

HIGH TAXES DESTROY ECONOMIES.
