When the Prime Minister doubts MP Bill Cash's conservative credentials, surely we shall see an emergence of a breakaway group; one that is keen to serve the requirements of proper conservatives. Such an assembly is bound to happen, as the responsible wing of conservatism realises the direction the Coalition is taking the Nation.

We have commenced this week venturing into areas that would have been a policy too far for the absurd Harriet Harwoman. The case in point is the usual naive tripe surrounding child birth. Nick Clegg is promoting new fathers to enjoy even more time off work to assist with family matters, and bonding perhaps. Is it little wonder that the western world is falling into uncontrollable debt? We can only assume that Confused of No 10 has given this dog's dinner his blessing. The one advantage of this exercise could be that, in most cases, the mother is unsure who the father is. On second thoughts, this could lead to additional legislation, allowing a number of suspects getting this leave of absence simultaneously.

We understand that Clegg is trying to recover his position with the army of people who are on the take.
