A CLOSET TOO FAR.

I will accept that we should have a cross section of society representing us in Parliament, something, however, tells me, that what was once a steady creep, is developing into a veritable sprint. Homosexuality we know is out there, but is it really in the Electorate generally, on the scale that has manifested itself in Westminster. We cannot operate as a cohesive unit if we pander to minority groups. It can only end in tears.

To follow in the trendy steps of liberal thinking will only deliver us into the messy wastelands of decadence, a path which probably saw the collapse of the Roman Empire.

The subject, the writer is aware, can create a certain amount of ire, and quite rightly so. Only this week we have witnessed the strange death of MI6 agent and boffin, Gareth Williams. These situations generate so much conjecture, immediately we get suggestions that this may be a case of a sexual killing. Obviously, this could be offered as a ruse of course. Although this death, on the face of it, is not an Alan Turing moment.
