LAWS-LESSNESS AND THE QUOTA ROTA.

It doesn't take too long for parliamentarians to be flushed out, presumably, in the case of David Laws, it was two weeks. Living in these times of secretive life styles, in his case around his homosexuality, it seems there is always someone aware of these situations, prepared to play a trump card when it hurts the most. In this particular case, any number of disenchanted people from his own party, a Tory backbencher, possibly the Opposition, and not least, of course, the Press. There could also be far more to the story.

What becomes irritating are the excuses circulated by his colleagues, stressing that he will soon be back in Government. The man cheated with our money! I/we would have to face serious charges having committed such crimes. The secrecy may have been regarding his homosexuality, which, if not overly commonplace outside the halls of Westminster, appears to be prevalent within. Although Parliament spends much time, too much for the author's liking, on diverse sexuality; it might still be an embarrassment to some of that persuasion; many are well known to the public, but how many are not, of either sex? The Electorate needs to be made aware of numbers, with a view to reducing what might well be an overwhelming quota of such members, male or female.

THE PITY REMAINS, THAT LAWS WAS PROBABLY THE PICK OF THE LIB-DEM BUNCH.
