WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?

The new regime is now in place; a party of the centre, which needs to be strong enough to grab the bull by the horns. No half measures will be suitable. Not being scared has to be the aim. The years of 'fudge' have to be behind us, it is now time to gird our loins.

Of course we can save money in the NHS. In previous blogs it has been pointed out that only a fraction of the 200.000 plus, annual abortion rate is justified, the Health service is not there to assist with fashionable life style, an expensive form of contraception paid for by taxpayer GB. Binge drinking is another area where we have to make tough decisions. Are we aware that much of our intensive care capacity is taken up by drug addicts? All of these self imposed conditions should be chargeable, so as to make a profit on any treatment. Health tourism must also be stopped, including the funding for interpreters. The same economic measures must be introduced into education; there are some schools where our native language is in the minority. To speak English has to be a prerequisite prior to commencing school.

The savings mentioned are only scratching the surface, but must be tackled prior to the gormless outfit, i.e the opposition, getting into it's money wasting mode in order to pacify the takers rather than the givers.

We do have a problem however, we have soon fallen for the sop that everyone who pays Capital Gains tax is wealthy. Let us remind ourselves, that banking (saving) is our only escape clause, otherwise the money to be loaned is just a promise against future taxes; pushing the debt further down the road.

INCIDENTLY, LET'S HAVE PROPER LIGHT BULBS BACK.
