THE TRAM TO FINANCIAL RUIN.

We have, in the past, regularly referred to the enormous waste of hardworking people's money the Nottingham tram system is. It is a giant loss-making project, that is costing work folk to park their cars in the facility made available by their employer if it falls within the city limits. Most of these people won't benefit from this decision, as their place of work is not served by the original service, or the addition to the tram scheme.

This week's news is depressing, as Cameron has decided that, should the Conservatives gain power, they will not oppose this 'robbing Peter to pay Paul' arrangement. This is all we need from this weak 'blue rinse socialist', who obviously has no understanding of what will happen. Who in their right mind would start a business or relocate to Nottingham with an additional built-in overhead?

The author fears that the city will become a desolate place within a few years.
