HERE WE GO AGAIN.

Harwoman defies her own proposed equality rules, that is non equality regarding women-only short lists. She is hoping to parachute her husband, Jack Dromey, into the safe Labour seat of Erdington. This could of course occur by using a cross dressing technique to reassure the natives. It's no good questioning this bare faced betrayal of her own ridiculous aims, as it is par for the course for this moronic outfit in government.

Jack Dromey is of course a Union official, and to get TUC financial backing for the forthcoming General Election, the Labour Party has got to be seen toeing the party line, under the Red Flag etc.,

What is so absurd about this women-only business, which also applies to the misguided pursuit of the same policy by the Tories, is that it probably alienates a more suitable male candidate. The same principle could well apply should we have a system, although unlikely, of male-only lists. What is being overlooked in this equation seems to be the fact that all we are trying to endeavour is extra voting fodder.
