NHS, THE NEW DISEASE.

The true blight that has hit our health care system is, in many cases, the abuse of alcohol, drugs and over eating, or at least eating the wrong type of food in excessive quantities. We don't appear to be able to gain access to figures indicating the amount of money involved in this job creating frenzy, but with modern computerisation, it shouldn't be too difficult. We can apply the same system regarding the cost of patient care for those who haven't paid their dues. As long as taxpayer GB continues to pick up the tab without complaint, the longer gormless government will carry on regardless.

Of the above mentioned categories, obesity is, in a minority of cases, in the genes of the sufferer. This however cannot be the case in all the over sized people who appear to be around at the moment. We will no doubt be told that much of it is caused by diabetes, when in fact the opposite is the reason. The writer lost a brother due to diabetes and haemochromatosis in recent years, who was certainly not overweight.

Let us set out our stall, indicating to the Government, that vast savings have to be found from the NHS alone.

DON'T LET THEM OFF THE HOOK.
