2010, THE YEAR OF THE YAWN.

Entering a new year should give us the opportunity to commence with a clean slate. Not this year however. Immediately, the major parties get into their respective strides, talking about spending money we haven't got.

The party I shall vote for must indicate, across the complete public sector spectrum, where and how it will cut waste in it's outrageous expenditure. Talk of 'ring fencing' any area is totally irresponsible. We cannot spend money that we don't possess. Cameron has shown his hand on the first day that he is competing with the most backward of moves, indicating that he is a closet socialist. He cannot possibly make any statements regarding money supply, because the current regime is not being honest about the subject. On this point alone, he should harass the Government and refrain from being scared of the media. The truth alone will do.

Of course the NHS is important to us, therefore we need to know how the money is spent. How much does treatment for immigrants cost us; abortions for teenage pregnancy, not to mention the failed contraception, plus the thousands of useless jobs in local government and the BBC? It goes on and on, all at a gigantic expense to taxpayer GB. There can't be any let up as the debt continues to rise. This has to be paid back soon, as the knock-on effect will be catastrophic to our financial rating in the world. Hate bankers if you must, but without the city, we are financially dead in the water.

None of the above institutions mentioned are religions, they just happen to be great money 'hoovering' devices, being sold to us in exaggerated terms. Don't bite! All governments will want to appear to be throwing money (our money) at anything emotive.

AND THEN WE HAVE THE EUROPEAN QUESTION.
