THE BROWN SHOOTS OF AN ELECTION YEAR.
As the Government forms fours with a view to the forthcoming election, Brown promises one to one nursing for the elderly in need. In addition, we are to see a substantial increase in the minimum wage. Both these promises are borne out of expediency, plus insistence from the unions, the sole paymasters.
Some people will naturally fall for this unaffordable nonsense, particularly those who are on 'the take'. The consequence will be, in the case of the minimum wage, even more businesses will fail. Nevertheless, the Government knows that it is in the public sector where their advantage lies, part of their 'client state'. Regarding care in the home, which of course sounds good, but cannot be funded by a nation that is bankrupt.
Presumably the Government has many more such promises to unleash upon us, all of which will be based on spending more money that does not exist. They will never allow industry the freedom required for expansion, as they can only see taxes rather than progress of greater employment in the private sector. This alone makes it clear that we cannot survive in a Marxist climate.
