CLEGGY AND THE DREAMERS.

Here in the United Kingdom, the annual political beauty contests have started, the party conferences. First out of the blocks were the Liberal Democrats, or perhaps, the 'not so Liberal' Democrats. Their leader, Nick Clegg, enjoyed his moment in the limelight, emphasising all his projected giveaways. Let the author try to explain.

The LibDems is a minor party that happens to make up the coalition numbers, along with Conservatives, to be greater than the Labour opposition. Ever since the 2010 General Election, they have demanded a tit-for-tat requirement regarding their recommended policies, all with left wing overtones; hence the reason that we have taken so long to emerge from the mess left by the last Labour regime. Its big flagship policy, making school meals free for all children for the first three years of their schooling. This, we understand, will cost around £600 million, which naturally reminds us that it is not free for all of us, it can't be. Furthermore, when a nation is cutting back, quite rightly so, on benefits, with a National Debt in the trillions, it's advisable to refrain from additional spending. Clegg's party also reneged on one of the main agreements; to support recommendations by the Boundaries Commission regarding constituency boundaries, to make a level playing field as elections come along, due to population fluctuations. In return, Clegg won the right to a referendum on the voting system, which he lost by 2 to1. His total support for the loathed European Union (he hopes to finish up with a cosy job there)! We could go on indefinitely, but he tries to make an argument in favour of the appalling Human Rights laws. This was introduced by Tony Blair, 'Mr. Sleaze', no doubt due to this being the speciality of Mrs. Blair, a practising barrister. How strange, therefore, that Clegg's wife also practises law; incidentally, so does 'Thoroughly Modern' Miliband's wife. These three couples want to assist all 'illegals' in Britain to stay, and eventually be given the vote, in the hope that they will support their respective parties. Some democrats! Furthermore, how come we were much safer in our own beds before the Human Rights legislation was introduced?

MORE BENEFITS FOR CHILDREN = MORE CHILDREN.
