THE NIGHTMARE THAT IS SYRIA.

From the moment that Prime Minister David Cameron decided he had to push for intervention into what has become a beleaguered Syria, trouble was going to be right around the corner. Britain is in no fit state, either economically, or of having sufficient fire power, to scare any nation. We would have trouble threatening the Scilly Isles.

Naturally, the use of chemical weapons on any peoples is diabolical, but a genocidal attack on your own is unthinkable. However, there might always be some doubt which side committed this heinous crime.

The Middle East is going through a period which engulfed different factions of the Christian church in the past. One could say that there are still fragments of this in Ireland. Unfortunately, the type of weapon technology, along with instant communication, keeps the whole world abreast of events. Assad, on the surface, is deemed to be the bad guy. This, however, does not absolve the opposition, which now includes many factions taking advantage of the situation. The current regime at least allows different factions of Islam and Christians to go about their lives without threat. This would become a problem under stricter Islamic rule.


SO DAVE, WE'RE BETTER OFF OUT OF THIS MIDDLE EASTERN HELL.

Today's press includes the story of an horrific incident in Knutsford, Cheshire; where a horse was so badly beaten by a gang of children, aged between nine and twelve, who had managed to extricate a metal fence post from the ground and set about beating the horse around the head. Apart from suffering a fractured jaw, the beast was taken to Liverpool University's Leahurst Veterinary Hospital, but their gallant attempts could not save the eleven years old Caesar.

How on earth are we creating this kind of monstrous hooliganism in children so young? Something very wrong is happening in our society.

We can, no doubt, assume that most of these children will go on to many more criminal activities, becoming an even greater burden upon the diligent hard working parts of our society, who will be providing their benefits in later life.

The retarded 'Left' will naturally be sympathising with these young thugs, referring to them as our future.

GOVERNMENT FINDS ADDITIONAL £500,000 FOR HEALTHCARE.

Prime Minister David Cameron has announced extra funding for some NHS Accident and Emergency units. The author suspects that this largess of more borrowed money will go where the Government anticipates the massive influx of immigrants from Bulgaria and Roumania will concentrate, with effect from next January. Naturally, much of this will be soaked up by those suffering from serious ailments; after all, this really is free to these freeloaders.

We are informed that this money is coming from savings being made elsewhere; 'pull the other one'. The contortions that politicians go through to excuse their farcical approach to good housekeeping is truly risible.

It is also advantageous to make such promises during the summer recess, when the news is generally pretty slow.
