CLOSET MARXISM.

Here in the United Kingdom, in the forthcoming week, many of us go to the polls in the four yearly county council elections. Due to ongoing austerity measures, which means that we are not wasting quite as much money as before, many of the shire counties are controlled by the Conservatives, who, in general, have been holding down local taxes; which one would expect to be the main issue regarding the vote. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to operate like that, as the main concerns, which won't be addressed by the elections, will be national. For example, those fed up with the discipline needed to control national borrowing would prefer to ignore the problem. Many such folk are naturally those on benefits, who expect the strivers to pick up the tab.

Lurking in the wings, left, is comrade McCluskey, head of the Unite Union, which subscribes millions to 'Thoroughly Modern' Milibands Labour Party, who learnt his Marxism at the kitchen table, from his father. Unite's ample funds are garnered by the state employed millions, who are obliged to join unions. Their union dues, or a percentage thereof, find their way into Labour Party coffers. So it is no wonder that Labour wants the maximum possible in state employment. McCluskey is beginning to sound threatening towards his puppet Miliband, as his union vote got 'Thoroughly Modern' the top job. McCluskey is now getting over confident, by calling in his 'marker', instructing the Labour Party to veer further to the left. Should they make substantial gains, which can happen, as a mid term elections can throw up a protest, it would suggest that plenty of the electorate prefer a return to the seventies, with piles of rubbish in the streets, and numerous unburied bodies. McCluskey, by the way, who was re-elected for a further term by a mere 10% of the membership, having received 64% of the 15% who bothered to vote, is beavering away, trying to arrange a General Strike.

Conversely, there is a 'new kid on the block', the United Kingdom Independent Party (proper conservatives), who want us out of Europe. They, from what can be gathered, could well turn out to be real 'party poopers'.

GOOD ADVICE: KEEP THE CLOSET DOOR LOCKED.

WHEN IN A HOLE, STOP DIGGING.

Following a recent blog on our other channel ' Brussels! Good ForYou?(http://europeanfantasy.blogspot.com), in which we highlighted the change of heart by the International Monetary Fund, with the boss, Christine Lagarde, now suggesting that the United Kingdom changes tack and eases up on the austerity 'CHASING THE DEBT MkII'. This has been triggered, evidently, by Bill Gross, who runs the world's largest bond fund, Pimco. The plot thickens; when considering what the same Bill Gross had to say in 2010, that Britain was "resting on a bed of nitroglycerine", due to the mountain of debt left by the last Labour Government.

Perhaps Bill Gross sees here an opportunity to make a healthy profit, by betting one way or the other. It would be difficult to imagine that Warren Buffet would run with his suggestion. It was Buffet that compelled the author to read 'When Money Dies',  by Adam Fergusson, which describes in detail how a national economy loses its credibility, as was the case with Weimar hyper-inflation, following the first world war.

POLITICAL BRAINWASHING.

Following the death at eighty seven years of age, of former Prime Minister, Baroness Thatcher. With obvious evidence of senile deterioration in recent years, this was surely a blessing. The author is pleased that she  passed away peacefully, as she was such a dynamic person as a younger woman, who, from what we understand, didn't appear to need a lot of sleep; perhaps that brought about that deterioration. Eighty seven years was pretty good, with many of them under the severest of pressure, from a country that was sinking rapidly, surrounded by grown men, many of them quite happy to appease the Unions for the sake of a peaceful life, irrespective of the cost to the nation. As Prime Minister, she intended to do what the electorate expected of her, something rare in modern politics, which was to clear up the mess of the outgoing Labour Regime. This she did with considerable passion, which earned her three election victories. Not forgetting the resentment of the 'big government' theories of the left.

No doubt the world is now aware of much of the disgusting reaction of, what a appears to be by, 'son of the old left'. Yes the usual suspects were out, encouraging youngsters, via twitter and facebook, many who were not even born when Margaret Thatcher was the PM. Included in these motivators, are a number of so-called 'edgy' comedians, they expect an audience to laugh when they use a four letter word. Naturally some people do, they, I suspect, are part of the great unwashed, ridiculing the name of the former political giant. What however is more important, is that they have been brainwashed in their schooling by the strident, ultra left wing, National Union of Teachers. Every Easter they confer, threatening more strikes, hardly the way to motivate children to work. This is done mainly through the deplorable comprehensive form of secondary education, which produces thousands of semi-literate youngsters annually, some of whom then go on to university. The author does, therefore, disagree with one of Margaret Thatcher's decisions, which was to maintain the comprehensive system on taking office in 1979. Ironically, what the left, the assumed epi-centre of equality, detests most of all, she was a woman, and a conservative.

GOD BLESS YOU MARGARET THATCHER.

A HORNET'S NEST.

Things are hotting up regarding the question of welfare benefits. Not only do many recipients consider that the system is being overly exploited, but, a number of journalists, who would normally have 'left leaning' opinions, are emerging from the woodwork, agreeing with the coalition government, that this encouragement to live off the state has got to stop.

One such writer, Brendan O'Neill is proving quite vociferous on the subject, much to the chagrin of the Labour Party, who can see their main client voting source being vilified. In an article over this weekend, O'Neill makes the case that the state is capable of creating a vast class of folk who should be able to work, but having been raised in an environment where such a notion is alien to them, are encouraged to demand exactly the same rights as the conscientious worker. He is magnanimous enough to quote something written by a right winger, Ferdinand Mount; "The post war (WWII) welfare state is like a form of 'domestic imperialism', through which the state treats the poor as 'natives' who must be fed and kept on the straight-and-narrow by their superiors". Mount also suggests that modern welfarism is 'benign managerialism' which pacifies the lower orders.

One could go on indefinitely with additional scenarios, all of which have a common denominator; the folk on 'the take' are allowed a vote, so we know how they will use that vote. A similar situation arises in the European Union, as the majority of the member nations are on the receiving end of funds, therefore outnumbering the ones that make the contributions. What has happened to the EU, bears witness to such stupidity.

IT'S CHANGE OR BUST TIME.

YES OZZIE, YOU'RE CORRECT.

Further to the previous posting regarding welfare and the Philpotts in particular, Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne is being vilified by the 'usual suspects', i.e the Labour Party, the BBC, the Bishops of the Church of England, not forgetting the extreme left views of the Guardian newspaper. The charge made against the Chancellor is his suggestion that we should engage in debate regarding the easy lifestyle of many of the committed welfare addicts, masses not having ever done a day's work. Heaven only knows where these dim folk of the left exist; it can't possibly be in the real world.

The annual bill for this, in many cases, largesse, runs into hundreds of £billions. The press has tales daily with examples of people claiming for disability, when spotted participating in various sports, with photographic proof. Believe the author, debate is long overdue. There is no intent to include the needy in the proposals; there are always people who are genuinely incapacitated, and will be cared for. We do, however, need to control, in particular, immigration of families of endless children, plus the enormous problem of 'health tourism'.

The one minister in the current coalition government who is doing good work is Ian Duncan Smith. His reforms that came into effect this week were also met with derision by the massed ranks of the aforementioned dim left. Obviously they think the 'willing' should be happy providing for the 'unwilling'; one wonders where in the Bible that such a notion is recommended.

BRING ON THE DEBATE AS THE NATIONAL COFFERS ARE RUNNING ON EMPTY.

STATE SPONSORED CHILD SLAUGHTER.

We in Britain have just witnessed the conclusion of the trial of the two parents and a friend, who participated in a deliberate arson attack on their own home, as six children were sleeping upstairs. According to the evidence, it was suggested that the father, Michael Philpott, was hoping to appear as a saviour of the children in an endeavour to blame the fire upon a former mistress and mother of more of his children, with a view to having custody of her's. No doubt his intentions being, to gather in more by way of welfare benefits. It is probable that most people are now aware that Philpott and his wife Mairead, along with Paul Mosley, have been convicted and sentenced to considerable gaol terms.

Additional information regarding Philpott makes horrendous reading. He has sired seventeen children during his lifetime. Bringing children into the world is big business in Britain, due to mega allowances, and therefore it is a very good earner. So far it is difficult to find any history regarding any employment. He spent much of his time at the local pub. Drugs were also mentioned during the Trial Case. An excess of offsprings is a truly profitable business.

This is not a case in isolation when it comes to living off the State. There has been much written recently about a single mother and her children, there are more than ten of them, making life a misery for elderly neighbours. Guess what! The authorities have decided to build her a large home at an astronomical cost to taxpayer GB. We can go on indefinitely with similar cases; but will conclude with another disturbing tale: Only last week, a teenage girl was mauled and killed by four or five killer dogs whilst at the house of a friend. The friend's mother being the tenant of the property. How can a single mother afford to keep such animals with dog food and vets bills?

SOCIALISM HAS MUCH TO ANSWER FOR.
