ISSUE, ISSUE, ALL FALL DOWN.
Should one wonder why the western world is in terminal decline, we need look no further than the way we use language. Modern media communication devices, most of which are out of date before having completed the first text message, appear to be destroying adult interaction, due to the ridiculous use of language, particularly 'pseudo' English. The author had the misfortune recently of seeing JK Rowling in an interview, where she insisted on using 'issue' repeatedly, which seemed to be every other word. Some might be relieved, as the last trendy word 'focus' is getting some deserved respite.
In the recent London Olympics, the British athletes could not progress beyond the words 'amazing' and 'unbelievable'. All this immature nonsense stems from years of socialist under-education, along with poor quality TV. Even so, the authorities award pupils high marks when their limited vocabulary is so obvious, which includes the confirmed socialist, Rowling. What it does, is give our left wing politicians a type of false pride, a feel good factor, with which they can fool their supporters.
The misuse of the word 'cool', which shouldn't be used by anybody over the age of three, but is included in everyday conversation by parents, in an endeavour to be connected with their children. Add 'chill out', and 'chillax', which emanate from the drugs culture. How childlike. We can go on forever with such nonsense'; for instance 'big ask' and 'a given', if only someone would produce a picture of either, and please don't get me started on 'stuff'.
LET'S HAVE SOME DISCIPLINE.
