LORDY, LORDY!

It comes as no surprise that a majority in the cosseted House of Lords think that the hard working taxpayer GB should keep pouring money into the coffers of those with large families, many from abroad, here to benefit from this largesse. These Peers, inventing a kind of synthetic sympathy at our expense, are getting far beyond a joke. The Bishop of Leicester spent the early part of the week spouting in the trendy jargon of the day, which included the expression 'given' (if only he could draw me one, so as to recognize it should I come across one). We might dread to think how often he uses the term during his sermons; should he persist with a limited vocabulary, wouldn't 'taken' be more appropriate?

These illogical manoeuvres by the Bishops with their left-wing posturing, are making the author think twice about his relationship with the Church of England. Don't they understand that they are only encouraging the procreation of thousands more children as a way of making money. What a disgraceful incentive to turn procreation into a business, at enormous cost to the responsible wing of the nation.

We have suggested before in these postings, that in the name of democracy, on these occasions an announcement needs to be made, pointing out that the diligent taxpayer will have to foot the bill, and thank them in advance.

Come on Ian Duncan Smith, nail these dim-wits to the mast.
