BLACKBERRY CRUMBLE.

This is not a recipe, as we have been let down by one of our important ingredients. Within the failing economies of the western world, few people ever point the finger at what could be a feature of the downturn. We have suggested in these columns previously, that modern communication is too reliant upon trendy, ever smaller contraptions; soon no doubt, to be the size of a postage stamp. We should be giving ourselves more time to pause and think about the problems, of which there is an abundance.

This last week produced a breakdown in the 'Blackberry' network in Britain. Such things will occur, just as some aircraft will fall from the sky. The author read, that a backward schoolboy explained how his world fell apart, or words to that effect, due to the ensuing chaos. Some may wonder how we come to spend millions on educating such youngsters without a better return for our money. Such responses only confirm the rapid decline on these shores.
