DISENCHANTMENT WITH MY FELLOW BRITS.

Unfortunately, as a nation we get no brighter. Watching last night's Question Time, it is obvious that certain people in the audience are planted there to argue the most absurd points. Yesterday saw a report on the disgraceful handling of many senior citizens during their stay in hospital; this is before we ask the public around Stafford for their view. What is it that allows David Dimbleby not to instantly point out such things? Not a chance, the union message has to get through, no matter how much in denial the messenger happens to be.

The trouble with this country is the fact that we allow the opinions of NHS staff and the teaching profession to dominate the direction of both health and education; well both of these services happen to be owned by the public. We would consider asking turkeys to vote on Christmas as a retrograde step I'm sure.

It is painfully obvious that Britain's economic state has to be considered 'so last week' by the left wing rabble. Savings must be made everywhere. The current Government has not gone anywhere near far enough. For example: if we want to get young people into work, scrap the minimum wage. It has always been ludicrous that the Government determines what an employee pays it's workforce. Incidentally, to whom should the banks be lending our money? Certainly not bad 'bets', as was the case in recent years. Such considerations need to be resolved. However, very little can happen until Europe comes to terms in acknowledging the failure of the Euro.

THE WORST IS PROBABLY YET TO COME.
