WHO DUG SKINNER UP?

Dennis Skinner MP (Bolsover & Bygones) was resuscitated at PMQ's this week to make one of his inane inquiries. The writer is pleased not to be the one who revived him with the kiss of life. This inadequate, useless individual is still around after all these years, at our enormous expense, as voting fodder and resident clown, his humour being on a par with their backward, costly policies.

The subject ,of course, was an attempt to embarrass the Tories over the story where the lead is actually played by Lord Sleazeball. Osbourne was certainly naive, but to the more observant, Mandelson is the villain upon whose character we should be concentrating. Was he recalled from Brussels due to his relationship with a certain Russian, who appears to have done well from a deal or deals? His Lordship then has the temerity to enjoy luxurious hospitality aboard the yacht owned by this so called beneficiary. Is it possible that Brussels was questioning this activity? One answer is of course NO! As a number of his old colleagues could well have been enjoying similar perks. Understandable from a bunch who oversee an organization that can't get it's books cleared by the auditors.

Mandelson could only do what had been decided by our Sub Prime Minister, thank you Alex Salmond for that. I've kicked myself for not having seen such an obvious description hitherto. Our new Business Secretary wouldn't have made first base had he stood for a By-election.

IT'S BEEN SUGGESTED THAT THE PART OF NAT ROTHSCHILD WAS PLAYED BY A REFORMING ALCOHOLIC.
