SENIOR TORY CONFRONTS 21st. CENTURY

How refreshing to note that former minister Peter Lilley has the audacity to suggest, quite rightly, that MPs should be due for reductions in salary as their function in 80% of cases is only to rubber stamp EU legislation, remember them, an unelected army who's name will never appear on a ballot form.

Should we choose to ignore, what in many cases are nothing more than disgraceful impositions, for much longer, we will slide irrevocably into an abyss of red tape so beloved of our socialist minded European Masters, assisted by our own incompetents in Westminster.

Our views on the question of our MPs were touched upon in the earlier Blog 'NO MAN IS GOOD ENOUGH TO GOVERN ANOTHER ETC'. Considering one option on how they should be paid, plus the fact that there are now far too many of them.

Let us not disregard that, neither the current Government along with the LibDems are or would both be incompetent to govern the country and therefore just go along with Brussels to create myriads of non jobs.

KEEP UP THE ATTACK PETER LILLEY!
