THE TORIES- WHERE DO YOU START

Easy, you start as you intend to go on, grasp the moment, be daring, ask the voting public what they need, be democratic. One by-election win has made hardly a scrap of difference, we will have this shambles of a government around for the foreseeable future, we can only sit tight and watch the shower of incompetent perpetrators squirm. What a pathetic sight watching the PM telling us that our ailments are due only to global upheaval. Strange how the rest of the world had nothing to do with global economics when universally interest rates were low, much too low for the 'Brit', which encouraged the pirate gene to emerge, the vision of cheap money, creating mirages in so many peoples mind, add the overcrowding of a comparatively small island, the combination of the two became a major factor in the current economic downfall. Brown loved the run up to this as he collected the stamp duty along with the VAT on many a credit card purchase where the main item on the bill is, in many cases, still a debt. All the stealth taxes that we have allowed to be imposed upon us in the last eleven years beggars belief. Don't be surprised if he starts to blame the Bank Of England for the situation; he more than likely gave the BOE the powers to set interest rates to make sure his finger prints were not visible when the system collapsed. The most disturbing aspect of this scenario,however, is that swathes of the voting public kept voting for it.








So the scene is set, therefore, to change the direction of the nation in conjunction with popular opinion. Although there are endless things to consider, population has to be a priority. This is compounded by a current news item regarding last years flooding, which caused much sewage to be swept into the sea, please understand it won't be long before we'll have difficulty separating fresh water from sewage. Laugh the Government out of town regarding 'eco towns' or any kind of regeneration. The nation wants it's countryside returned and quickly.









A word of warning, many a true conservative won't tolerate 'blue rinse' socialism. To get me out of the 'none of the above frame' my MP must not vote with the government on major European issues without consulting his constituents and irrespective of the shadow chancellor's freedom on a vote regarding IVF for lesbians. If these are his morals then cross the floor or join the Liberals and understand what the word conservatism means.
