THE NUMBERS GAME.

Letters to the press is always a good place to read about the concerns of the thinking public. This week, the author noticed an interesting example; a correspondent questioning the official line regarding the population of the UK. Officially, the figure is reported to be just over 63 million; how is it, therefore, that according to Hansard, the Parliamentary record, Lord Hodgson of Astley Abbotts asked the Government how many National Insurance numbers were active as at December last year? Department for Work and Pensions under-secretary, Lord Freud, replied that there were about 65 million held in the department's system.

Where then, we should be enquiring, since we are not on this register until the age of 16 years, are the 8 million plus under sixteens accounted for? Which gives us a nominal total of over 73 million. There are likely to be a number of 'fly' folk with multiple identities, so loved by the left, because they will give all their votes to the Labour Party. It is deplorable that all politicians ignore, and even lie about this situation.

SHOULDER TO SHOULDER, WILL WE SURVIVE?

CZARIST WESTMINSTER.

In the West, the English spelling of Tsar is the norm. Prime Minister Blair, of the last wasteful Labour regime, introduced the idea of a tsar whenever a problem arose, whereby he found it prudent to put the subject into the hands of a separate Quango; supposedly to sound out the public reaction to contentious items, keeping the heat away from the door of government. We call it 'chicken'.

This very expensive aside to government is the subject of an article in the weekend press written by Dominic Sandbrook, in which he points out that the number of these bodies is now vast; costing taxpayer GB a fortune. Any particular tricky problem is now overseen by a tsar for this or that; appointed by government, not elected by the public. The practise commenced by Blair, is being continued with the same enthusiasm under Cameron. Each head of these bodies receives a salary well into three figures, with staff growing by the day. We are talking 'big bucks' here. It would appear, that, as yet, no actions have been taken by government against any recommendations, if there ever were any.

In addition to the above, Sandbrook wrote about the cult of celebrity, which, as in any walk of life, is operating with gusto in the Westminster village. This last week we have witnessed a shuffling of the 'deck chairs' in both the Government and Opposition 'Front Bench'. There seems to have been a plunge into the unknown, introducing 'eye candy'; these women may prove to be suitable, but they weren't appointed on that basis. For example, the brightest young female on the Government benches is Priti Patel, a tough speaking, no nonsense politician, and one suspects, much too hot for the Prime Minister to handle; so she got a 'thumbs down'.

AFTER ALL, IT'S ONLY A GAME.

THE ENIGMA OF POLITICAL MAN0EUVRING.

Here in the United Kingdom, we are witnessing the most disgraceful political posturing that the author can recall in his 78 years on this earth. In the face of improving news on the employment front, the leader of the Labour Party 'Thoroughly Modern' Miliband, is making a song and dance regarding the cost of living. The extraordinary aspect of all this is his involvement as the architect of higher fuel (gas/electricity prices) when his portfolio gave him the right to introduce the imposition of the ludicrous 'green taxes'. This was in addition to local taxes, ensuring that district councils were top heavy with farcical posts, which in turn created more union dues, meaning more money to the Party coffers; a kind of perpetual motion. The audacity of this plastic politician is beyond belief. Nevertheless, it will suit all of the voters who are looking for something for nothing.

The opposition has so far lost every argument on the economy, but still they try to justify their presence with this childlike whimsy.

There are other concerns in this area that are being raised. Can somebody please explain why fuel and grocery price increases are a problem, when surging property prices are not? They are operating in the same economy. Why on earth can increased house prices be good, thrilling folk, particularly owners, when naturally it is just as bad? Unfortunately, the Government is stoking  up this next bubble, by guaranteeing assistance for the initial deposit to attain a mortgage; adding to taxpayer GB's enormous debt by keeping the market at an overpriced level due to the availability of so called 'cheap money'.

REST ASSURED, THERE IS NO SUCH THING.

NOT MY DAD!

The big news of the week here in the United Kingdom has been about Ed 'Thoroughly Modern' Miliband's defence of his father's legacy, which has recently been dragged through the mud, with much good reason; causing Miliband Minor to be positively apoplectic.

The widely read daily, The Daily Mail, had the effrontery, according to 'Thoroughly Modern', to expose the deep seated disappointment that his father couldn't reduce Britain to a communist state. Ralph Miliband, a Jew, given sanctuary in England, from Belgium, early in the second world war. Later he was old enough to serve in the conflict, which was only reasonable. Following WWII, Miliband Snr. pursued a course of left wing politics, subsequently becoming a Marxist Professor at the London School of Economics. His mentors were the well known left wingers associated with the post war Labour movement: Harold Laski and Eric Hobsbawm, both of whom, I'm sure, advocated armed insurrection to gain power. To his credit, unlike his mentors, Ralph M. did not agree with the mass slaughter of political opponents along Stalinist lines.

The defence by his adoring, and very left wing son 'Ed', was that some remarks made by his father when seventeen regarding his dislike for the British establishment, were merely immature reactionary comments. Maybe so, but he, Miliband Minor, is talking about reducing the voting age to sixteen. Naturally, the PBC (Pinko Broadcasting Corporation) has shown its true colours and sympathy towards the Milibands and their Marxist background; they were recently announcing with glee, that it had been suggested that UKIP leader, Nigel Farage was partial to fascist songs as a pupil during his school days. There is, however, no suggestion of that in his political rallying call. UKIP's philosophy is simple, the whole world cannot come to live in Britain, for obvious reasons.

Ed 'Thoroughly Modern', is on a mission; he wants to fulfil his father's dream by leading us to this promised land of Marxism. This is why the Union block vote supported him. He's a 'Red', who is not even trying to get elected under the radar; he's actually proud of his political retardation. Interestingly, as yet, Miliband Major, elder brother David, ensconced in a nice 'little earner' in the US, is not making any noises on the subject of the exposure of his father's activities, if that is what spreading Marxist bile is.

THIS COULD BE THE ENTREE FOR THE BIGGEST 'BOOM AND BUST' EVER.
